Northeastern University Mixed-Use Research Building
This 104,000 sq. ft., state-of-the-art facility on Northeastern University’s Burlington campus opened to students in the fall of 2019. Notable features of the new facility include a conference center, research laboratories, scientific core laboratories and office spaces, a rooftop terrace, and a drone testing facility. This academic building serves as a research hub and the cornerstone of the university’s emerging Innovation Campus.
Sunrise was contracted for this new development back in 2018 with the intention of aiding in the design-assist phase of the project. We teamed up with Gilbane Building Co. and EYP, and through months of successful collaboration, helped to finalize all of the design details.
Sunrise’s scope of work ultimately included the furnish and install of curtainwall, entrances, bi-fold glass doors, metal panels, framing and louvers.
