A welcomed addition to the UMass Boston campus, the four-story, 190,000 sq. ft. academic building known as University Hall opened its doors in the spring of 2016.
Located on the eastern edge of campus, the building features state-of-the-art general purpose classrooms, including a 500-seat auditorium, faculty and staff offices, a café, student lounge and study spaces, and specialized instructional space for art, chemistry, and performing arts.
Sunrise fabricated and installed 21,000 sq. ft. of copper panels and 22,000 sq. ft. of SEI’s composite metal rainscreen system. Sunrise’s scope also included installation of 16,000 sq. ft. of corrugated metal panels.
