Acting as one of our Outside Superintendents, Ruben Alves came to Sunrise with 15+ years of experience in the field of construction. Ruben started his professional career in carpentry in 1997 at George Drywall, where he first became a foreman in 2000. After serving 11 years there, and then another 6 at Superior Drywall, Sunrise was lucky enough to bring on such a dedicated and loyal employee in 2012. From the start of his Sunrise career, Ruben has shown exemplary qualities of ambition and orderliness. Within a few years of work at Sunrise, Ruben was quickly named Foreman and has been running his own jobs ever since. Fast forward ten years later, Ruben is credited with being the brains behind many of our field operations, overseeing multiple jobsites at once. Ruben’s reliability and dedication to Sunrise has become essential to the company, which resulted in his inevitable promotion to Outside Superintendent in 2025.
